Original paint as when it left the factory in Canada.
First registered in Florida it crossed the ocean to the Netherlands in ’97 and to
Belgium in 2003 where it spend years in one family.
The interior was stripped naked in 2005 and rebuilt from scratch with
Custom woodwork ,Isolation ,double-folding seats ,kitchenette,fridge ,modern electrics etc…
Equiped with optima deep cycle batteries and Mastervolt inverter allows « off grid » camping.
The body is stretched at the rear and provided with a “pit” in the back where the cabinets and kitchenette are ,allowing a tall person to stand upright to cook.
The dodge comes with a Maggiolina folding roof-tent sleeping 2 p. additionaly to
the folding bed inside. (Needs to be reinstalled ,painted matching silver,hard case
top sleeper) Small Thulle roofrack and Webasto sunroof on top.
A motorbike transport-system custom fitted to the hitch is available at extra price.
The van will drive any distance since most parts have been replaced over the years :
Transmission rebuilt / suspension :Heavy duty springs front & extra leafs rear / monroe chocks / rebuilt steering gear/ Alternator / Starter /rebuilt radiator / airco/ Stainless custom exhaust line, etc…
The driver captain-seat was replaced by a recaro electric seat from a porsche 911
and can turn 360° just like the passenger seat..
All of the interior elements are bolted down on thick woodwork that was the base
when we rebuilt the interior ,so the new owner can easily change the set-up or design
for his needs .
This van cruises like a landyacht ,and is a joy to travel with for a driver that appreciates
a V8 and mechanics built to last.
It drove my family from Norway to the south of Spain.
The garanteed rust-free van can be inspected at the owners
workshop by appointment.
A “B » drivers licence will drive this Van (3.500Kg) also in restricted cities due to the historic title.
Health issues are the reason for this reluctant sale.
