The Atelier des 1000 is pleased to present for sale today this beautiful Morgan Plus 4 Roadster in an elegant configuration that combines several shades of white and cream.

The +4 features, among other things, a wider body than the 4/4. Starting in 1954, it was equipped with Triumph mechanics sourced from the TR2, which develops 90 hp. This improvement also marked the appearance of a curved grille and headlights integrated into the fenders. In 1956, the TR3 engine replaced its predecessor, allowing the Plus 4 to reach the 100 hp mark—this is the version that powers our example.

This Morgan was delivered new on 13/01/1960 to Canada before arriving in California. It was subsequently imported to Europe in 2022.

A certificate from the manufacturer confirms that the engine is Matching Numbers.

A substantial file of invoices accompanies the vehicle, along with numerous period documentation.

Mechanically, the car starts easily without noise or smoke, and its power delivery is crisp. Various cooling hoses have recently been replaced.

Electronic ignition has been added.

The original SU carburetors have been replaced with two dual-body Mikuni units that offer a sportier character.

The gearbox engages and locks its ratios correctly, and the clutch has good bite.

The running gear behaves well and the suspension is comfortable.

As for braking, it performs its job correctly and is perfectly balanced. It recently underwent a complete overhaul, including replacement of the hoses, master cylinder, and rear wheel cylinders.

The alternator and starter have been replaced for sale.

The chrome wire wheels are shod with Vredestein tires.

The paint is in fine condition, the overall finish is lustrous, and we note no major defects. The chrome is perfectly gleaming.

Inspection of the undercarriage reveals a sound vehicle free from perforation or structural corrosion.

The upholstery is in fine overall condition and displays a light patina that adds to its charm.

The solid wood dashboard is in fine condition, as is the Brooklands steering wheel in Bakelite, which was delivered as a standard option. A wooden gear shift knob completes this decidedly British interior!

The carpets are in fine presentable condition and conform to original specifications.

The convertible top is in perfect condition, and we have matching side screens.

The period Smiths instrumentation in cream has an incredible patina.

Given the configuration and condition of this vehicle, we are asking €27,990.
